Cupcake Decorating Supplies Needed

  • Orange frosting (white frosting with orange icing gel to color)
  • Green frosting
  • Tootsie Rolls
  • Green Applie Licorice (for leaf)
  • Wilton Frosting tip #47 and #4

To make a set of these cupcakes use orange frosting with tip #47 to make the stripes on the pumpkin. Start on the edges and then work your way in with a curve. Once covered use part of a tootsie roll to make the pumpkin’s stem. Insert the tootsie roll where you see fit.

Next, find a cute clipart image of a leaf you like and then trace it out and cut with scissors. Use the image as a template so you can cut your leaf out from the licorice using scissors.

Place your leaf wherever desired and then use the green frosting with tip #4 to make your green vine tendrils.

Supplies Needed for Decorating Cupcakes Like This

  • Orange Frosting
  • Tootsie Rolls
  • Green Frosting
  • Wilton Frosting Tip #4

Frost your cupcake in orange frosting. Take half of a tootsie roll and mold it to make it look like a little stump. Insert the tootsie roll into the center of your cupcake.

Lastly, use frosting tip #4 with the green frosting to make the tendrils and draw on your frosting leaves.

  • White Frosting
  • Orange Frosting
  • Pretzel Sticks (for stem)
  • Wilton Frosting Tip #47

This is pretty easy to make and a set of these would look adorable on your table for Thanksgiving or Halloween. Frost cupcakes in white frosting, use frosting tip #47 (ribbon shape) to make the mini pumpkin.

Once finished, add a small piece of a pretzel stick to make the stem of the pumpkin.

Frost your cupcakes in orange. Next use tip #47 (ribbon shape) with the white frosting to pipe on your bigger pumpkin. Use a small piece of your pretzel stick as the stem. Use the green frosting with tip #4 to make the vine/tendrils of the pumpkin.
